Frank Moher’s plays have been seen internationally, at theatres including South Coast Rep (Costa Mesa, Calif.), the Canadian Stage Company (Toronto), Workshop West Theatre (Edmonton), the Asolo Theater (Sarasota, Fla.), Alberta Theatre Projects (Calgary), The Mingei Theatre (Tokyo), Dodona Theatre (Prishtina, Kosova), and OmaDa Theatre (Athens, Greece). They include Pause, The Broken Globe, Down for the Weekend, Odd Jobs (nominated for the Governor General’s Award for English-language drama), Sliding for Home (with Gerald Reid), The Third Ascent, Prairie Report, Kidnapping the Bride, Farewell, McLuhan: The Musical (with Gerald Reid), Supreme Dream (with Rhonda Trodd), All I Ever Wanted, Tolstoy’s Wife, Weather, and Big Baby. A musical, Moonbound! (written with Antonio Gradanti) premiered in 2014. His plays are published online by ProPlay and by the Playwrights Guild of Canada.

Recipient of the Alberta Culture Playwriting Award, the City of Edmonton Cultural Achievement Award, and the Alberta Achievement Award, Frank has also won a Los Angeles Drama-Logue Award for Writing (for Odd Jobs), the Edmonton Sterling Award for Outstanding New Play (for both The Third Ascent and Prairie Report), and is included in the Alberta Playwrights’ Network publication Theatre 100: Celebrating 100 Theatre Practitioners over 100 Years. He has taught at the University of British Columbia and the University of Alberta (where he was a Distinguished Visiting Artist), and is currently an instructor in dramatic writing and journalism at Vancouver Island University. He has also worked extensively as a literary manager and dramaturg, including creating the online script workshop E-script

As a journalist, Frank has written for Saturday Night magazine (where he also worked as an editor), the National Post, The Globe and Mail, The Vancouver Sun, the Georgia Straight, and Salon. He is currently publisher and editor of the online magazine backofthebook.ca.
